AbstractWe will study representations of compact Lie groups, and their metric-geometric generalizations called infinitesimal foliations. The goal is to explore how these concepts are used in Riemannian geometry, and vice versa how the metric approach to foliations can be used to obtain information about representations.

JUNE 15, 2023 for the course Lie groups, representation theory, and singular foliations

JULY 15, 2023 for the course From coin tossing to the Parisi theory of complexity

A selection committee will meet shortly afterwards and all accepted foreign applicants will be notified of the result in due time.
